I hate the jonas brothers but I do have respect for him to continue a career such as this one
He didn’t. That was an unfortunate rumor. He experienced a low and treated it and for some reason that got interpreted to him having thrown up.
when did he throw up on stage
i believe nick was talking about the omnipod when he said ‘it’s not that bad.’ not diabetes in general. & he didn’t throw up that night..just some clarification..
awe i do not have diabetes but it does run in my family and he is a true inspiration for me and i look up to him in osoo many ways i love Nicholas Jerry Jonas with all my heart and supprot his battle against diabetes

I’m an older adult and have Type I Diabetes due to pancreatitis which almost took my life. I recently received the OmniPod and I’m excited to get started with it. My feeling is I’m Alive and that’s ALL that matters. Thank the Lord we have these devices to keep us alive and well. I’m greatful for my life and all the people in it who love and care for me. What else can we ask for? God Bless and Take care.
I have had diabetes since i was four, i was on MDI for about 19 years, then last year i finally got a pump (animas ping), i love this thing. imagine me hugging that puppy. because of the pump i have actually been able to fully appreciate a trip to disneyland. great now im going to cry. usually i go soo low that i have to stop completely and eat and watch everyone else get on the rides. not now yay.
aww i feel bad 4 him i luv him
i ma 17 and have type one diabeates and its a stuggle but its worth the fight and it good to know that even famous people put up with the some stuggles i do i love u jonas brothers nick your my role model
Well when he was first diagnosed he was like who can I look up to who’s got diabetes and there wasn’t anyone so he decided to raise awareness and be the one to inspire and share his story. And no doubt it was tough when he was first diagnosed but he can talk about it and share it with so many people =)
what he says at about 2:53 is so true !
x
i totally understand, but even though non famous people have it aswell, its good that hes using his fame to spread the word and awareness of it because lots of young people will listen to him and he is worldwide so i think hes doing something special and its really nice how supportive his fans and brothers are being .

Good luck! Sounds cool! Send pics!
Lorraine
im getting the pump soon. im going to get the omnipod…. and rhinestone it!
Yeah..me too!!!!
That was WIN
i have the omnipod…its sooo much easier than medtronic…no tubes!!!
well, nick is trying to raise support for EVERYONE with type one not just himself. he gets so much support because he’s famous but he doesn’t ask for it.
I’ve been diagnosed with diabetes on Febuary 6th, 2009. At first they treated it as type one, but a month later they found out that I’ve had type II so now I started taking Pills, evetually I won’t be needing insulin anymore. By the Way when I’ve been diagnosed my B.S. was like 400 Something.
okay, i know i will get like eighty billion thumbs-down on this, but i really wish people would stop marveling over the fact he has type one diabetes and how amazing it is that he’s still thriving and all. i have type one, and so do many hundreds of thousands of kids across the country, and i feel like we dont get the support that he does, just because we arent famous, cute pop stars. just be aware that he’s not the only one.
I don’t have diabetes, but I don’t think I would ever be like him, he never gave up, I think it is hard enough to live a normal life with type 1 diabetes, so I imagine how hard it must be to live HIS life.
Peace, Love, Nick Jonas <3
